Slopes of the Broad River Watershed

Typical of the Piedmont, the slope of the terrain in the watershed rarely exceeds 10%, and about 80 percent of it has a slope of less than 5%. Only in the Appalachian foothills at the northern end of the watershed do the slopes exceed 20%.
