Laboratory for the Study of Social Interaction

What we do
Faculty and students affiliated with LaSSI are currently conducting social psychological research on topics like (1) status and power processes in interaction, (2) emotions and social identies, (3) justice and legitimation proceses, and (4) social networks. Our research has close ties with similar sociological traditions including work in affect control theory and group processes more generally.
