Southern Historical Association

The Charles S. Sydnor Award is awarded in recognition of a distinguished book in southern history published in odd-numbered years and awarded in even-numbered years. It will be awarded at the 2008 meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana for a book published during 2007. Copies should be forwarded to the following committee members no later than March 1, 2008.
