Dr. Linda Renzulli
(Curriculum
Vitae) Dr. Linda Renzulli, Associate Professor
of Sociology, has been at the University of Georgia
since 2001.
She received a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University
of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2001.
Her specialty areas include Organizational Creation,
Change, and Diffusion, Sociology of Education, Sociology
of Work and Organizations, Stratification,
Networks, and
Gender.
Dr. Renzulli's most recent work examines charter schools with an interest in understanding the early stages of organizational development and sociopolitical impacts on school formation. She is also interested in the effects of the school district environment on charter school policy and organizational structure. Finally, Dr. Renzulli is examining the effects of that policy on the composition of students who attend charter schools and the consequences for teacher professionalization.
