How to Contribute to Georgia Debate

The program is supported in part by targeted financial contributions from University alumni. Currently, Georgia debaters receive scholarship support from the Brent Clark and Augustus Turnbull accounts ( view scholarships ). Given the evolving pattern of state government economic support for the University, we will become increasingly dependent on support from those who debated for the program in earlier times.

If you are interested in contributing to the Georgia Debate Union, please click here. In the past, interested alumni have established scholarship funds for undergraduate scholarships. For smaller contributions, you can target your contributions to the general debate scholarship fund (acct. no. 50-S9470). Please let us know if you have made a recent contribution or pledge to Georgia Debate. On occasion, notice of contributions can take some time before they cross my desk.
