Squirrel Treefrog
Hyla squirrella

This frog is difficult to identify because of numerous color and pattern variations. The color of a squirrel treefrog can change from green to brown, depending on temperature or activity. They may have a dark spot or bar between their eyes and light stripes down their sides. They can be found in almost any damp area that has good cover for hiding. Their call is similar to the chattering of an angry squirrel and can be heard from March to October.
