Lucas Wilkinson

Masters Student

University of Georgia
Athens, Georgia  30602

Major Professor:
Dr. Whit Gibbons

Lucas Wilkinson spent his formative years in Kankakee, Illinois soaking up the local culture of the so-called “ghetto in the meadow”. Having escaped with portions of brain and wit intact, he attended Northwestern University to become a pre-med student.  Realizing the true extent of his misanthropy, he found far greater pleasure studying habitat correlates of anuran richness in Chicago-area wetlands and ended up graduating with a B.A. in Environmental Sciences.  He soon followed the frog calls to SREL and an MS candidacy at UGA.  At present, his research interests are multifarious and a bit nebulous, but include conservation, population ecology, and life history evolution.
