Bulldog Brass Society to perform


The Bulldog Brass Society, a graduate brass quintet at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, will give a recital April 27 at 6 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall. The performance also will feature a special appearance by the group’s coach, Philip Smith, a UGA professor and former principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic.

UGA Days hitting the road


UGA is once again hitting the road to bring the Bulldog spirit to alumni, friends and fans around the Southeast. From April to July, UGA coaches and administrators will travel to seven cities, sharing their insights into UGA’s upcoming athletic seasons and the latest news from campus. Details here.


Chamber Music Society to perform
The Performing Arts Center will present the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in the fourth annual Arch Chamber Music Festival April 25 and 26 in Hodgson Concert Hall. The April 25 concert will be at 8 p.m. and will include works by Brahms, Martinu, Shoenfield, Dvorák and Mark O'Connor. The April 26 concert will be at 3 p.m. and will feature music by Mozart, Schumann and Anton Arensky. Tickets are $40 and are discounted for students.
