Reed Hall
Originally built in 1952 as a 499-bed facility, Reed Hall was designated in 1992 as the first residence hall to be remodeled according to UGA’s new master-plan strategy. Reed Hall, Payne Hall, and Morris Hall make up Reed Community. Residents of Reed Community are known for their involvement in countless campus issues and activities. When they're not busy with their extracurricular activities, they can often be found studying or lounging, or playing a game of ultimate Frisbee on the Reed Quadrangle, a large grassy area bordered by Reed, Memorial, and Milledge halls.
