Small Animal Teaching Hospital
The Veterinary Teaching Hospital cares for approximately 16,000 small animals each year. Most are cats and dogs, but we also care for many other pets including, but not limited to, birds, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets and reptiles. These companion animals come to the hospital with a wide variety of illnesses, yet have a common need for healing. In their search for the source of your animal's problems, they rely on the most recent diagnostic modalities and state-of-art technology, as well as board certified veterinarians, residents, interns and technicians.
