  Welcome to the Georgia Alpha Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta. The purpose of this organization is to encourage and foster camaraderie among students wishing to pursue careers as healthcare professionals. We welcome to our meetings all future physicians, dentists, optometrists, podiatrists and any other students interested in health-related careers. Through these meetings we aim to encourage and recognize excellence in premedical scholarship, to stimulate an appreciation of the importance of premedical education, to promote communication between medical and premedical students and educators, to provide a forum for students with common interests, and to use its resources to benefit health organizations, charities and the community.

UGA students intending to apply to medical, dental, optometry and podiatry schools request invitations to join from the UGA Premedical Studies Office http://premed.uga.edu.

  The UGA Premedical Club meets jointly with AED. There are also pre-dental and pre-optometry committees.
