Alpha Epsilon Pi and Kappa Delta Win Greek Week
The men of AEPi alongside the ladies of KD were crowned winners of Greek Week 2008. The victory was blowout, with the AEPi/KD team scoring 912 points, and the next closest team scoring 663. The competition included the Greek Olympics, Trivia Night, attendance at a UGA baseball game, and overall sprit to name a few. This is the first time in recent memory that the Chapter has won such an award and the Brothers are extremely excited to defend their title next year.
Wild West 2008 a Huge Success
Wild West flew by this year and it was one of the most successful events we have held in years. Thursday night was headlined by US Band, followed by Project Pat of Three 6 Mafia on Friday and the Matt Woods Band on Saturday. During the weekend, those in attendance spent time in the pool, played basketball, and enjoyed our famous crawfish boil. The countdown begins now for Wild West 2009, where the Brothers will surely have a hard time outdoing themselves.
Brother David Sirzyk Named UGA "Greek Man of the Year"
Brother David Sirzyk has been named the UGA "Greek Man of the Year." The annual award is given to the Greek man on campus who demonstrates leadership ability and positively contributes to not only his fraternity, but Greek Life as a whole. David, a sophomore from Marietta, served as Vice-President for the chapter in the 2007-2008 school year and is looking forward to continue contributing the fraternity and the UGA community.
