2008 Rush
Chapter OverviewAEPi offers a great opporunity for incoming students to the University of Georgia to find a home away from home. Founded in 1916, the Omicron chapter is the second longest continuously running chapter in the country and proudly boasts an 80+ man chapter roster. Members of our chapter include UGA students originating as far north as New York and as far west as Texas. The chapter's diversity helps complete the unique and special mold that is AEPi. Although classified as a social fraternity, our chapter offers not only a party outlet, but also one philanthropically, academically, and religiously.
Philanthropic
Each year our chapter hosts and participates in many campus wide philanthropies including Relay For Life, Dance Marathon, and others specific to host organizations including other fraternities and sororites, Hillel, IFC, and UGA. Each summer AEPi hosts its annual golf tournament to support the AEPI national philanthropy. This spring, we will be hosting our second 5k Fun Run, titled A Race For The Cure to support our Relay For Life team rasing money for cancer reasearch. The race will be held Saturday, March 22 at 9:00am. The entry form and details can be downloaded by clicking here. For more information contact Jackie Wolfson at jwolfson@uga.edu.
