Many of the undergraduates in Agricultural and Applied Economics want to take internships related to their future careers. You may be in a position to host student internships or know of potential internship opportunities. These internships give students valuable practical experience. Your assistance in identifying and/or hosting meaningful internships is greatly appreciated.
Agribusiness Internships
AAEC 3910. Internship. 3 hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing and permission of department. This course provides educational experience in the economics of management of a farm or agribusiness firm. Forrest Stegelin (706-542-0850) is the faculty advisor for the Agribusiness internship.
Environmental Economics Internships
AAEC 3910. Internship. 3 hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing and permission of department. This course provides educational experience in the economics of management with a natural resource or environmental management agency, organization, or firm. John Bergstrom (706-542-0749) is the faculty advisor for the Environmental Economics and Management internship.
