Alumni Manage Risk and Investments for Corporate Giant


Five alumni from the Agricultural and Applied Economics Department at the University of Georgia formed the core group to model economic decisions for American Express. The corporation almost immediately saved over $100 million annually in financial losses through their analyses and recommendations. Corporate executives took note of these successes and provided for the expansion of economic personnel and analyses.
