J. W. Fanning Lecture 2002

This year's Fanning Lecture will focus on the future of international agricultural trade with an emphasis on poultry. The Lecture  will  be  presented  by  Eric J. Joiner,    who   is  President,   Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder of AJC International. One  of  the world's largest global food distribution services, AJC International markets poultry, pork, red meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits. The corporation procures goods from all major producing areas of the world and supplies all major consuming countries for their retail, wholesale, food service and industrial markets.

Mr. Joiner is active in numerous international trade associations. He is former chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of the United States Poultry and Egg Export Council. He is on  the Advisory  Board  for  the Goizueta  School of  Business at Emory University.  Also,   he  is on  the  Board  of  Directors  for  the International Business Alliance at Georgia State University. Mr. Joiner received his BBA and MBA from Georgia State University.
