Selected Previous AGSA events:
-Crop & Soil Sciences T-shirt, polo, and hat sale (Fall '06 & Spring '07):
We still have Crop & Soil Sciences t-shirts, polos, and hats available. See an AGSA officer to purchase.
We have both white and charcoal gray t-shirts ($10.00), gray hats with either a green & brown logo or a red logo ($15.00), and black polos with either a green & brown logo or a red logo ($25.00). Click on the images below for more detail on the t-shirts (at left) or the polos and hats (at right).

-Fair Trade Seminar (Spring '06)
Tripp Pomeroy of Café Campesino presented a seminar on the ethics and practices of fair trade in agriculture, specifically coffee, and brought some excellent coffee for us to sample. Café Campesino is located in Americus, GA and is Georgia's only 100% fair-trade, organic, shade-grown coffee roaster.

-AGSA Research Forum and Poster Contest (Spring '06)
The 2006 Department of Crop and Soil Sciences Research Forum and Poster Contest was a resounding success. For a copy of the program/abstracts please click below. We had 13 posters from undergraduate and graduate students in our department. Dr. Bill Miller and Dr. David Knauft judged the poster competition and selected the top three posters. Congratulations!!
