Research: Currently, I am working with Dr. Cabrera on ways to improve manure analysis specifically in broiler litter. The current method to extract water soluble phosporus in broiler litter is with water, however we are trying to determine if extraction with a buffer solution will yield more accurate results.

In the summer of 2007, I will be leaving for the Peace Corps part of the Master's International Program (MIP). Information regarding both the Peace Corps portion and the UGA portion can be found in the links below. In a nutshell, the MIP breaks up your Master's Degree and allows for you to serve in the Peace Corps in an area specific to your major. Typically, candidates will attend a Peace Corps MIP associated university for one year, volunteer with the Peace Corps for 27 months, and then return to their respective university to finish up remaining coursework.
