Mission


The mission of the Agronomy Graduate Student Association is to:

•  Sponsor projects within the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences that will enhance the graduate program (such as guest speakers, social events, research forums, and service events).

•  Support Department of Crop and Soil Sciences activities contributing to the graduate program.

•  Have a voice on issues that may have an impact on graduate students at the departmental, college, and university levels.

•  Allow members to become acquainted with all graduate students within the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences.

•  Allow members to become familiar with the research projects of each graduate student and to better understand the scope of the research program with the department.

•  Maintain organizational website to provide information to current and prospective students, as well as to support graduate students and the departmental graduate program.

AGSA Bylaws:

•  This document acts as the constitution for the organization.
