GMOA to host screening of circus film

A screening of “The World's Smallest Airport” (2012), the story of the Thrasher Brothers Aerial Circus produced and directed by Matt DeGennaro, will be held May 20 at 3 p.m. at GMOA. Following the film, a discussion with the writer and executive producer, Grady Thrasher, will be held.

Peabody Awards to be held May 21
Sir Patrick Stewart, the Peabody Award-winning star of stage and screen, Shakespeare plays and science-fiction blockbusters, will be the host of the 71st Annual George Foster Peabody Awards ceremony on May 21 in New York. The Peabody's, the oldest awards in broadcasting, are considered among the most prestigious and selective prizes in electronic media and were founded and in-residence at UGA.
