Alicia Corts
Ph.D. student Alicia Corts has “lived a life of adventures,” and when she graduates from UGA, she wants to teach and pass on a passion for “not settling for the places in life that are simply mediocre.”
LaTrena Stokes
LaTrena Stokes is a recipient of the Women of UGA Scholarship from the Jeannette Rankin Foundation who believes in “divine opportunities” and encourages others to keep moving forward in their lives.
Will Murdock
Senior theater major Will Murdock from Arlington, Ga., wants to “tell stories” after he graduates, and his time at UGA has given him plenty of fodder to pursue his dreams.
Michelle Kim
Michelle Kim, a senior education major from South Korea, is using her personal experiences in the classroom to become the inspiring educator she aspires to become, accepting and valuing students for who they are.
Kristyl Tift
Kristyl Tift is a performer and an academic, and the Ph.D. student from Hinesville, Ga., finds that she is able to successfully merge those disciplines at UGA.
Lauren Cameron
Lauren Cameron’s passion for water conservation is second only to his unwavering commitment to family responsibilities. With little free time, Lauren has managed to be on the dean’s list in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, while working two jobs to help support his mother and siblings back home in Moultrie.
