We’re all aware of such phrases from the news media as “weapons of mass destruction”, “peace in the middle east” and “nuclear proliferation.” But Matt Chambers has dedicated his educational endeavors to understanding their current implications on today’s society and peaceful resolutions to international conflict in the future. Senior Leilah Zahedi’s life work will span international horizons. She plans to become a physician and would like to travel to Iran, her ancestral home, to advocate for women’s rights. William Rooks

The experiences graduate student William Rooks has had on campus, in the nation’s capital and in China are preparing him for tomorrow’s increasingly connected and globalized world. His goal is to attend law school so that he can serve as an attorney advocating for human and civil rights.
