UGA study reveals gender wage gap shrunk faster than previously thought
The gap in wages between men and women has decreased sharply over the past 30 years, and a new study reveals that decline was even greater than previously recognized. The research is one of the first to take into account a common bias the authors argue skewed previous results: People (especially men) tend to inflate their incomes when surveyed.

Friday Night Heights to be held at Ramsey
The department of recreational sports will sponsor Friday Night Heights on the Indoor Challenge Course Feb. 10 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Ramsey Student Center. Participants can climb, walk around and negotiate nine adventure elements suspended 25 feet in the air. Ground school instruction and all equipment are provided.
Georgia Gym Dogs meet Arkansas
Georgia’s nationally-ranked gymnastic team will compete against Arkansas in a meet on Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum.
Black women and their contributions to American history and culture will be highlighted as UGA celebrates Black History Month in February.
