8. College/Constituent Fund-Raising Programs

The University of Georgia’s School/College/Unit Development Directors are committed to promoting financial support for the University’s and the respective organization’s fund-raising campaigns and needs. These entities identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts to The Arch Foundation for the University of Georgia, Inc., and respective organizations from alumni and friends of the University of Georgia. Because college fund-raising programs encompass the broad spectrum of fund-raising activities, all college/constituent fund-raising programs are subject to the procedures contained in this policy statement.   TOP

The duties, responsibilities, and goals of the School/College/Unit Development Directors are determined by the Senior Director of Constituent- Based Fund Raising, in accordance with the Associate Vice President of Development, the Senior Vice President for External Affairs, and the Deans/Directors of the particular School/College/Unit. The financial support generated by donors is designated to assist in supporting scholastic programs and activities and other identified needs of the institution. TOP
