Art venues to hold “Third Thursday”
Six Athens art venues, including the Georgia Museum of Art and the Lamar Dodd School of Art, will showcase their visual arts programming during their “Third Thursday” event Dec. 19 from 6-9 p.m.
Men’s basketball team to host Gardner-Webb
The men’s basketball team will play Gardner-Webb University Dec. 19 at 11:30 a.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are $5.
Performing Arts Center presents "The Nutcracker"
The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center will present the State Ballet Theatre of Russia in "The Nutcracker" Dec. 21-22 at the Classic Center Theatre. The holiday favorite will run for three performances, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. "The Nutcracker" performance is presented through a collaboration between the UGA Performing Arts Center and the Classic Center. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children.
