Creating Change

Creating change on a college campus can be challenging. ASAP is working on a variety of projects to create positive change on campus to ensure that students make healthy lifestyle choices.

There is now a Community/Campus Coalition looking at high-risk alcohol use, alcohol abuse, and overservice in the Athens/Clarke County area. It is made up of campus and community leaders including local bar/restaurant/business owners, UGA faculty, staff and students, Gainesville College staff, Athens Technical College staff, Athens/Clarke County Commissioners and police, local nonprofit organizations, Athens/Clarke County schools, concerned parents and community members, and many others.
