ATP Students Dedicate "Wall of Character"
to Miss Georgia, Emily Foster

March 13, 2002

Character education:

C is for change
h is for honesty
a is for accountability
r is for respect
a is for appreciation
c is for compassion
t is for trustworthiness
e is for excellence
r is for responsibility
Miss Foster ran on the platform of Character Education in the Miss Georgia Pageant.

"Set your mind on a goal and keep trying until you reach it,"
she told the students.

Emily decided that she wanted an education and she knew it would
take a lot of money. Wining a scholarship in the Miss Georgia
contest seemed like a good way to reach her goal. And
when she didn't win her first beauty contest, she knew
she would have to be persistent. So, she kept trying ...
ten more times!
