The Internal Auditing Division is an independent appraisal function established within the University to examine and evaluate its activities as a service to management. Internal Auditing, which was established in 1966, is located at 240 South Hull Street on the University's campus in Athens, Georgia. The Division carries out a broad program of audits within the University.
The purpose, authority and responsibilities of Internal Auditing are summarized in the Division's Charter, which is approved by University management.
