About U.G.A AWRA:
We are the UGA student chapter of the American Water Resources Association. We meet ONCE a month (SEE CALENDAR) to learn about some of the more interesting topics in water management and discuss water quality issues. Our main goal however, is to have FUN. All of those interested in hydrology, soils, engineering, geology, and aquatic ecology are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings and activities!

To advance multidisciplinary water resources education, management and research.

Objectives:
• The advancement of water resources research, planning, development, management and education.
• The establishment of a common meeting ground for physical, biological, and social scientists, engineers, and other
persons concerned with water resources.
• The collection, organization, and dissemination of ideas and information in the field of water resources science
and technology.
AWRA Description:
Founded in 1964, the American Water Resources Association is a non-profit professional association dedicated to the
