Georgia Museum of Art receives national awards
The Georgia Museum of Art recently received national awards for two of its publications: first prize for Facet, its quarterly newsletter, in the American Association of Museums Publications Design Competition, and first runner-up for its book "One Hundred American Paintings" from the Eric Hoffer Book Awards.

GMOA to feature landscapes on tour
The Georgia Museum of Art will host its weekly Tour at Two on May 23 from 2-3 p.m. in the gallery. Paul Manoguerra, chief curator and curator of American art at GMOA, will showcase landscapes during the tour.
UGA hosting NCAA tennis finals
UGA is the site for the NCAA men’s and women’s tennis finals, which will be played this week at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
Post-intentional phenomenological research workshop offered
UGA's College of Education will offer a two-day workshop for qualitative researchers, instructors of qualitative research methods and graduate students who have introductory knowledge of phenomenological research on May 24-25 at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center at the Georgia Center. Participants will learn about the philosophical and methodological foundations of the presenter's techniques. This workshop is designed to be primarily application oriented.
