Mission:

The mission of the Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Processes is to serve as the University of Georgia’s focal point for research and education on biodiversity and the ecosystem processes that sustain life. The Center concentrates the vast and varied expertise dispersed throughout the University in a way that enables faculty members to generate new sources of funding to support scientific research, to provide educational experiences both on and off campus, and to inform public policy at the state, regional, national and international levels.
