About the Course Review Book

This document contains grade distributions for undergraduate courses taught during the Fall, 2002 & Spring, 2003 semesters. Not included are data from labs, the College of Veterinary Medicine or the Law School. Each line in the analysis represents cumulative data across the two semesters of interest and has the following characteristics:

  1. When more than one instructor for a course exists, only the first instructor is listed.
  2. When an instructor teaches more than one course section with the same course ID, the sections are added together.
  3. The column labeled "Other" includes grades not previously listed such as incompletes and audits.
  4. The "Course GPA" is the arithmetic mean of all of the grades distributed in the class(es).
  5. "Total" indicates the total number of students in the course section(s).
  6. Entries appear only for the instructor/course ID combinations in which a minimum of 10 grades (not including "Other" " W" & " WM" ) were awarded. Grades designated as Withdraw-Military (WM) are included in the category of W.

The document is organized into logical pages which contain all entries for a single academic discipline, e.g., "Accounting" or "ACCT." Please see instructions on the discipline selection menu page.
