2009 Tucker Dorsey Blue Key Alumni Banquet
Oct 2, 2009

The three main purposes for the annual banquet are to recognize and honor: the new student initiates and honorary members who were inducted earlier this year, the Young Alumnus Award Winner, and the Blue Key Service Award recipients. The banquet is sponsored by AT&T, the Richard B. Russell Foundation, and the University of Georgia Alumni Association. The new initiates are men and women of outstanding character and ability, who have not only achieved distinction for scholarship, but who also are recognized for their exemplary service to their peers, University, and community, as well as for their outstanding leadership. At the banquet, these new members are presented to past and present members of Blue Key. The Young Alumnus Award is presented to a Blue Key alumnus whose early professional and personal contributions have indicated a special level of service and leadership. The Blue Key Service Award is presented to distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to The University of Georgia, the state, and our nation, and who exhibit the Blue Key motto, “Serving I Live.”
