Workshop to focus on wetland plants

A workshop on “Wetland Plants: Ecology and Identification” will be held May 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Classroom 2 of the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Participants will learn about wetland vegetation, basic botanical terms and wetland plant species. This is an elective course for those in the certificate in native plants program. Cost is $50.

The Georgia baseball team will play its last series of the year at Foley Field against the University of Florida with games scheduled for May 16 at 7 p.m., May 17 at 7 p.m. and May 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5, $8 for reserved seats and free for students with a UGA ID.

Museum tour to look at social change
Georgia Museum of Art docent Ruthann Walton will lead a tour and discussion on "Art and Social Change" May 18 at 2 p.m. at the museum. The event is in conjunction with the International Council of Museums' International Museum Day.
