
Memorial Hall:
Memorial Hall opened in 1929 as a memorial to UGA students killed in World War I and was the main student union until the Tate Student Center opened in 1983.
Offices and facilities in Memorial Hall include: the Department of Intercultural Affairs, which is comprised of the African American Cultural Center, International Student Life, and Multicultural Services and Programs; the Office of Judicial Programs; the Greek Life Office; the Center for Leadership and Service; the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Trangendered (LGBT) Resource Center; student organization offices; meeting, conference and multi purpose rooms; a computer lab; and the studios of WUOG 90.7 FM, the student operated radio station.
