UGA T.O.P. Dog workshop explores social networking
The next T.O.P. Dog leadership and professional development program at the University of Georgia will show students the opportunities and threats presented by social networking web sites. The program is scheduled on Nov. 11, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. in room 137 of the Tate Student Center.
Students will learn what constitutes effective social networking, the dangers posed by networking sites, and the impact of social networking on career opportunities.
Sponsored by the Center for Leadership & Service’s Leadership Resource Team, the T.O.P. (Training Organization Professionals) Dog programs encourage students to “think outside of the box” and to challenge themselves by moving beyond their comfort zones.
Programs are grouped around career fairs, Women’s History Month events, and other campus-wide activities.
For more information, contact the Center for Leadership & Service at 706-583-0830 or log on to www.uga.edu/cls.
