UGA Fall Activities Fair encourages student involvement in campus life
ATHENS, Ga. – The Department of Campus Life will hold its annual Fall Activities Fair on Wed., September 9, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Tate Student Center Plaza. The fair is designed to encourage students to become involved in campus and community activity through the Center for Student Organizations.
More than 150 of the University’s 600 registered student organizations are expected to staff booths at the fair in order to provide information and recruit new members. Admission is free and the fair is open to students, faculty and staff, and members of the Athens community.
The Center for Student Organizations believes that students who are actively involved in campus life will find their experiences at the University to be more satisfying and successful.
