Baptism of Infants
Baptisms are arranged on an individual basis. Parents are encouraged to contact the Center to plan a baptism for a new infant. Classes for parents wishing to have a child baptized are held monthly. These sacraments are offered during second grade religious education. Instructional packets are provided to parents as the primary teachers for the sacraments. The Center staff works collaboratively to prepare children for the sacraments.Confirmation
The sacrament of Confirmation is offered during the ninth grade religious education program. Students engage in a curriculum that guides them in faith and knowledge of the sacrament.Other Sacramental Preparation
Individual instruction and/or small group sessions are offered for older children or young people wanting to receive either Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion or Confirmation.RCIA
The process of examining and entering the Catholic Church is called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). It is a gradual process of prayer and worship, study, reflection, fun, sharing and growth through which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church.
