Sixty-eight Colquitt County Cloverleaf 4-H members competed at District Project Achievement recently in Albany. Each 4-H'er was responsible for choosing a project, writing a speech and developing posters or props to support their topic. At the competition, they competed against 4-H'ers from other Southwest Georgia counties and presented their demonstrations before a panel of judges.

Twenty-nine Colquitt County Junior and Senior 4-H'ers recently competed in District Project Achievement at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. The competition is divided into two parts. A portfolio detailing the 4-H'ers work for a year is judged seperately from the actual demonstration. At Rock Eagle each participant gives a 10-15 minute demonstration on their chosen poject. This score is then combined with the portfolio score to determine the winner.
