GRADUATE PROGRAM GUIDELINES: MAJOR PROFESSOR
The Major Professor functions as the official advisor to the student and chairman of the student's Advisory Committee. The Major Professor assists in the planning of the student's program of study and directs the student's research. The Major Professor for students in both the M.S. and Ph.D. programs must be members of the graduate faculty.
