Application Information
The Arch Society is a top priority for its members. To be considered for selection, candidates must be a full-time student, rising third-year or above, and in good academic and disciplinary standing. Transfer and Graduate students who will have completed two consecutive semesters at The University of Georgia by the end of Spring Semester 2010, and who are in good academic and disciplinary standing, are also eligible for membership. If selected for membership, attendance is required at the regularly scheduled meetings each Thursday at 6pm (training during spring semester will be at 7:15 pm). Excessive absences will be cause for dismissal. Routine class schedule conflicts or other meetings are not considered appropriate reasons to be absent. If chosen to be a member of The Arch Society, you will be expected to fulfill these obligations and to plan all other activities and commitments so as not to conflict with weekly meetings or mandatory assignments. All members are fully expected to serve the entire year (March, 2010 – April, 2011).
