The Center for Leadership and Service and the Leadership Resource Team (LRT) at The University of Georgia invite you to the 14th Annual Georgia Collegiate Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 6, 2010.  The conference is designed to enhance the leadership skills and abilities of undergraduate students and to foster interaction among campus leaders and advisors.  Historically, we accommodate schools within the state of Georgia and the southeast, but college students and advisors from all schools are welcome.  This annual conference offers students from multiple colleges and universities across the state the opportunity to apply practical training in their personal, academic, and career development. 

This year’s conference theme LOST? Find the Leader in You! guides participants on an expedition of discovery of their own talents, developing awareness, knowledge, and skills in core competencies. An opening session and keynote speaker highlight the morning session, and the Case Study competition encourages thoughtful dialogue and problem-solving among various student groups.  Hundreds of participants and presenters are engaged in dozens of interactive workshop sessions in the areas of leadership, service, and career development.  GCLC will offer a variety of networking opportunities in a specific advisor track this year. 

Check out the changes in the 2010 schedule that will better accommodate the needs of all of our participants.  LRT is thrilled to host the 14th annual GCLC in the newly-opened expansion of the Dean William Tate Student Center.  As we help students find their own place, GCLC will explore emerging themes in leadership to assist those in finding the true leader from within.

GCLC Registration
Registration opens October 14, 2009, and includes continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, conference materials for a full day of workshop sessions, and the opportunity to Find the Leader in You!

Non-UGA- Athens campus students/advisors

Early Bird Special:
Group/Organization (Non-UGA Athens Campus) - 1 - 39 participants - $50 per person
Group Organization (Non-UGA Athens Campus) - 40 - 99 participants - $45 per person
Group Organization (Non-UGA Athens Campus) - 100+ participants - $40 per person

Registration materials and payment must be received in our office by December 11, 2009 at 4:00 pm to honor this price. 

Late Registration: Registration is $60 per person between December 12, 2009, and January 15, 2010.  Registration materials and payment must be received no later than January 15 to secure your place at the conference. 

UGA- Athens campus students/advisors

Early Bird Special: Registration is free for UGA-Athens campus students until December 11, 2009.  To take advantage of this offer, submit your registration materials online and $50 deposit check to our office by this date (the check will be returned upon conference check-in but will be cashed if you do not attend). 

Late Registration: Registration is $25 per person between December 12, 2009, and January 15, 2010.  Registration materials and payment must be received no later than January 15 to secure your place at the conference.
