The course is restricted to first year students on UGA's Athens campus. Peer Leaders must be upperclassment (second year or higher) on UGA's Athens campus.

 

Sponsored Programs
  • Dawg Camp - A summer series of programs for first-year students with an interest in arts and entertainment, the outdoors or community service.
  • Leadership UGA - This program was established in 1985 to recognize truly outstanding leaders on this campus, and to provide them a unique opportunity to interact with each other, to meet with leaders from throughout the state, and to become more aware of the issues facing our nation.
  • LeaderShape - an extensive, six-day leadership development experience introducing student participants to various aspects and issues relating to personal and group leadership, leading with integrity, and creating personal goals for the future. 
  • Service Ambassadors - Serve as liaisons between on-campus students, Volunteer UGA and other student organizations, and off-campus service agencies in order to connect students to volunteering opportunities in the Athens-Clarke County community.
  • SOAR - The Student Organization Achievement and Recognition (S.O.A.R.) Awards program honors the University’s finest student leaders, student organizations, and their advisors for their commitment to excellence and contributions to campus and community life.
