The Service Ambassadors is a new sponsored program within the Center for Leadership and Service.
The Service Ambassadors
- Serve as liaisons between on-campus students, Volunteer UGA and other student organizations, and off-campus service agencies in order to connect students to
volunteering opportunities in the Athens-Clarke County community.
- Coordinate multiple direct service projects and experiences for UGA students through programming and advocacy efforts.
- Educate UGA students about global social issues and ways they can impact change in
the local Athens community.

Days of Service
Days of Service will serve the UGA student population by providing opportunities for students to connect with the Athens community through fulfilling a need for community service. Days of Service is a new initiative within the Center for Leadership and Service, sponsored by the Service Ambassadors, offering volunteer projects one Sunday during each month of the 2009-2010 academic year. The dates and projects for the Days of Service are as follows:
All programs will be held between 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM
These service projects will expose UGA students to the breadth of volunteer opportunities and the need of the Athens-Clarke County community. Each program will be open to approximately 40-50 UGA Athens campus students. Transportation is provided for those who need it.
Come out and make your impact on the Athens community!
