Hands On Georgia Week, a state-wide week of service, took place September 29 – October 6. Ben, Jean, and Whitney, all members of Volunteer UGA Exec, worked with Volunteer UGA and Hands On North East Georgia to sponsor a service project during the week. These three Volunteer UGA students worked together to coordinate a field day at the Boys and Girls Club of Athens on Friday, October 5th. This event was a great success with more volunteers than needed. It provided a fun and positive after school activity for the children that live in that area.
