RLST 4000 Special Topics: Student Leadership in the First Year

The course is restricted to first year students on UGA's Athens campus. Peer Leaders must be upperclassment (second year or higher) on UGA's Athens campus.

 
Student Organizations
  • Leadership Resource Team (LRT) - provides basic skills training in several leadership areas, primarily utilizing the LRT  members as its delivery system to the students.
  • Arch Society - a unique student organization for students in their third year or higher which provides service to the University of Georgia as official hosts and goodwill ambassadors.
  • Volunteer UGA - An umbrella organization for the service based student organizations to collaborate and embrace the spirit of volunteering and civic engagement.
  • Alternative Spring Break - places teams of students in communities to engage in community service and experiential learning during their spring break.
