Molecular Genetics Instrument Facility

The University of Georgia Molecular Genetics Instrument Facility (MGIF) provides protein and nucleic acid sequencing and synthesis services for a nominal charge. The MGIF is divided into two basic service labs, one dealing with proteins and the other with DNA. The protein lab analyzes and synthesizes proteins and peptides and gives researchers details about their samples. The DNA lab concentrates on DNA sequencing and synthesis. Visit the MGIF Home Page for more information.
