Brenda Schulz, director of academic support in Forsyth County Schools Office of Academics and Accountability, has been named a participant for the upcoming Georgia Partnership for Educational Excellence Policy Fellowship Program.
Schulz, who received her master’s, specialist, and doctorate degrees from the University of Georgia College of Education, is one of 22 participants in the second group of the fellowship program. The group will spend nine months developing a broadened understanding of the policy process within education and strengthening their leadership skills.
The participants are chosen from fields in education, business, government, and community organizations.
Schulz also recently took office as president of the Georgia Association of Curriculum and Instructional Supervisors.
