  Cho Receives Prestigious College Board Research Grant
  For the second year in a row, a graduate student in education has received the prestigious College Board Research Grant. Sun-Joo Cho is one of only five young scholars in the nation to be awarded the grant which provides $24,000 for the recipient’s research.

  New Alternative Media Access Center to Help College Students with Learning Disabilities
  More than 6,000 students challenged by learning disabilities, visual impairments and mobility have to fight a little harder than the average student every day to earn their diplomas in Georgia’s 35 higher education institutions. Now, a new center based at the University of Georgia will offer these students and others an opportunity to provide access to alternative media, assistive technology and training.
