Thomson on ABC News' 20/20

College of Education professor Rose Chepyator-Thomson will be among those featured in a segment on stereotyping on the ABC News show 20/20 on Friday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. (WSB-TV, Channel 2).
Thomson, an associate professor in the department of kinesiology, will be interviewed by ABC reporter John Stossel. She was filmed earlier this week teaching a class at the Ramsey Center and running the Spec Towns track on Lumpkin Street.

Thomson, who is an expert in physical education curriculum and instruction, and multicultural, African and globalization issues in physical activity and sport, has been a professor of physical education and sport studies at UGA since 1996.
